Distributed, redundant, over-sized; each dedicated server offers DNS services for ns.host.com. The ns2.host.com and ns3.host.com are provided from separated machines offering DNS services to the entire dedicated servers network.

Program updates

Monthly; Our Full-service hosting service doesn't use automatic updates, every piece of software is installed manually to ensure system and service stability. We don't use packet systems, such as RPM.

Over-all level security management

All our dedicated servers maintain permanent communication with the "SecureAdmin" (Groups of servers from which our dedicated servers permanently download security rules for IPTables, Mod_security, AntiSpam, Antivirus and other services)

Host-level security management

Each server is checked periodically to ensure that completely security at all times.

Virtual-host-level security management

Through non-invasive configuration of the server and daily updates through "SecureAdmin", the service also guarantees a high level of security for each virtual host.

Release-type security updates

On a monthly basis, the maintenance team prepares standard software, services and configuration updates for each server. These updates are prepared, tested and verified on dedicated servers and, once the release has been approved and guaranteed, they are applied to the other servers. This operation is done manually on each server.

Emergency-type security updates

Security updates are implemented by the "SecureAdmin" and take between 2 and 6 hours for all servers on "full-service hosting". When a security update is considered critical, it is first prepared and tested before being applied to all servers within between 48 and 72 hours.

Port monitoring and performance control for each server

We monitor active ports on each server in real time. Also, performance and uptime controls are done on the "full-service hosting" group. You can be notified of the results by SMS for an additional fee.

Remote Reboot ports

A Remote Reboot service is offer for our client's conveniente, although we reboot the servers as necessary. The client may choose to reboot from a remote location or to request an assited reboot at any time. This guarantees better response times to solve security issues.

Management and handling service

At Internet.com.co ISP S.A. we offer full-service server management, including hardware and connectivity. If any part of the equipment needs to be replaced, this is done immediately at no extra charge. We monitor each server closely and respond proactively to solve any type of problem. We take care of all maintenance, security and update tasks for each server and run periodic checks to ensure that everything works as it is supposed to.
